Bachelor of Science in Nursing – Degree Completion Program

Nurses are the front line of the health care workforce. Now, more than ever, nurses’ clinical skills and leadership are needed to help shape the future of a rapidly-changing industry sector. Many employers inside and outside the hospital system seek nurses with a bachelor’s degree to lead the way.

If you’re a licensed, practicing Registered Nurse, you can now pursue your Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree with Georgian Court University through our partnership with Brookdale Community College in Hazlet. Featuring convenient evening and weekend class options, this RN to BSN program offers the support you need to complete your degree and take your skills as a nurse to new levels.

This program is appropriate for practicing nurses who have qualified with either an associate’s degree or a diploma. It is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and the New Jersey Board of Nursing. You’ll gain hands-on experience, too, by practicing in Hackensack Meridian Health’s High Technology Simulation Laboratories.

Career Opportunities for BSN-Prepared Nurses

Earning your BSN sets the stage for a wide range of new opportunities in nursing. These can include:

  • Management and leadership
  • Patient education
  • School nursing
  • Long-term care and rehabilitation nursing
  • Case management

In addition, completing your bachelor’s lays the academic foundation for future study at the master’s degree level.
